Dear Janice and all the Weiskopfs,
I was with my cousin Bette when we heard about Larry. My thoughts and feelings echo her sentiments. We all grew up together in Buffalo and some of my best memories are of spending time on Norwalk Ave with my cousins, aunts, uncles, and Grandmother.
I will miss you dear cousin; you'll always be an important part of my life.
And, Janice, to you and your family, I send love and wishes that this difficult time passes and only the best memories remain.
Love,
Diane

Dear Janice and all my many cousins. I was out of town and was unable to get in touch with you until now. Please know that my heart is broken upon learning of Larry's death. My memories of growing up in Buffalo are filled with all of the wonderful times we had at the Weiskopf home. We were only 11 months apart in age and we spent countless hours together at 292 Norwalk along with the rest of the aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful extended Weiskopf family. There are so many thoughts in my mind at this time and such a deep sadness in my heart as our family has now lost another very special guy.

My sincere condolences to you Janice and to Susan and Richie upon the loss of your brother and to all of his three children and many grandkids . I am sure that you will always have many wonderful memories to look back on of the times with spent with him.

With my deepest condolences you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Janice and family,

I knew Larry in high school. We didn't hang out together - maybe we were in the same high school fraternity - he was a year ahead of me - but I liked him. We got along with each other OK. He was really good friends with my cousin Squid-the-kid - aka Sydney Teibel. In my mind I always thought I would see him again. I am so sad he is gone. I will say a prayer for him.

SORRY TO HEAR OF LARRY'S PASSING....I WAS NOT AS CLOSE AS SIDNEY, BUT DID GO TO P.S. 66, AND BENNETT HIGH WITH LARRY...HE WAS A STAND UP GUY IN MY BOOK, AND I GIVE MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY..

Billy, Larry, Sydney, Richard, Eddie and Bob...That's how I met Larry. This was a group of guys I got to know in 1975 when Billy got us all together for friendship. Skiing, and then visits to Buffalo, Aspen, and other happy occasions are memories I keep. After many years, and too few contacts, some of the most fun times I ever had are so vivid in my memory. I will miss you, old friend.

I was there in 5th grade when we measured 1 inch between Larry's hairline and his eyebrows; and when he worked at his Uncle Sam's drugstore and saved his money to buy a 1953 Ford coupe, that was in his driveway for nearly a year before he turned 16 when he could legally drive it;

and I was there on so many Fri nites at his family's home playing poker with his grandparents, aunts and uncles and I was there for the birth of each of his 3 wonderful children, who were my 3 children's best friends growing up across the street on Crown Point Lane; and when Larry launched that 6 foot Lavoris styrafoam sailboat onto the lake behind his house and then after 6 weeks he went out and bought a $20,000.00 sailboat, a typical Weeze leap of faith,

and I was there being prodded by Larry to learn how to ski 40 years ago; and to go biking on 175 mile 3 day Lung Assn treks; and I was there when he met Janice, who he loved so very much and who clearly validated his life and made him so happy, indeed, we were all affected by his youthful enthusiasm......

and to all of you, Susan and Richard, Jill, David and Steven, and to Janice, "Uncle Sydney" is still there, grieving the loss of my old and dear friend..........and saying to each of you....that I love you and share your heartache and grief and will always miss my friend and carry him in my heart for the rest of my life.
