A career military pilot and veteran of WWII and Korean Conflict, died May 17, 2013, at home in Wheatfield, NY, at age 90, predeceased by his parents Andrew and Susanna (Parobek), siblings Margaret, Suzanne, Emma, Helen, Andrew, Daniel and his daughter, Andrea, who died in 1992; survived by his wife Mary Newland; children Michael (Kelly) and Linda Lee; beloved grandfather of Samantha and John; also survived by brothers Robert and Gilbert of Albion, PA and many nieces and nephews, including goddaughter Carolyn Donges. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 23 at 4 pm at North Presbyterian Church, 168 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Presbyterian Church.
