Age 82, of Davenport, FL. Born in Buffalo, NY to Edward G. and Mabel H. Brown Eckert. In recent years she shared her time between Davenport, FL and Western N.Y, where she devoted herself to family, friends and community. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 62 years, Patrick J. Wortman. She is survived by her loving children: Christine (Scott) Porter of Ballston Spa, NY, Daniel (Carolina) Wortman of Buffalo, NY, Kevin Wortman of Davenport, FL, Maureen (Daniel) O'Brocta of Amherst, NY, and Theresa (Ching Bolima) Wortman of Davenport, FL. Her dearest grandchildren: Quinn, Elise, Isabella, Patrick, Claire, Brenna, Delaney, Elijah, and Emmaline. Her siblings: Edward Eckert and Edythe HoChan. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends who called her Mom or Grammie. A celebration of life will be held in the future. Honor Margaret's memory with a random act of kindness or a donation to humanesociety.org.

Growing up in Kenmore NY was a great time. The Wortman family was a part of of growing up together. As my brothers and sister moved on my mom and dad kept ties with the Wortmans. After my parents passing , I kept tabs on their friends from Ermann Dr. and now Florida. It is sad to see my parents friends and mine slowly getting smaller in groups. Hoping to keep in touch for a long line
