My mother, Lucy Eleonor Fine Bernstone, was one of Margs older sisters born to Matt Fine and Mary Stasio. Marg was the second youngest sister of 8 children: Theresa, Minnie, Lucy, Beatrice, Joe, John, Marg, and Gloria, all of whom predeceased her. Aunt Marg was a very brilliant woman who lived a very long fulfilling life. So at this point we can say that she left us only in a physical sense. She is now in a more peaceful and spiritual dimension, and, in that sense she lives on our minds and in our hearts. Our love for her reaches far beyond this life, and therefore the pain of her physical absence is hopefully less, knowing that her departure is only physical, and that we will see her and be with her in the future. My condolences to all of my relatives, and may we all celebrate her life in our own personal, and private way ( in the midst of current social distancing), knowing how she will be sorely missed by everyone that knew her. Many, many thanks to my cousins in Buffalo: Diane Lupp, Sharon Murphy, Maryann Botham, and my niece, Ellen Schreier, for traveling long distances in order to tend to her in the twilight of her life, and many blessings to everyone in our family. Love and peace to all. Dr. Martin Bernstone.

A bright and inquiring mind, Marguerite stayed engaged with the world around her as long as she was able. She will be missed.

Rest in peace, A.M. We loved it when you would share stories and insight from times when I was too young to know or remember.

She was truly one of a kind. She was witty , street smart, stylish, intelligent and also very caring. She was a great cook and teacher. You could ask her anything and she would always give great advice. She is truly missed. May she rest in peace
