Maria, you can't imagine my shock when I found out about yor passing today. (7/5/12) I went to the restaurant hoping to see you and Wendy. The waitress told me about your passing. We will all miss your ever present smile. One day you will once again greet us....this time at the door to Heaven. Rest in peace my friend.

We are shocked and so very saddened to hear of the passing of lovely Maria. We just heard of it today, Jan.6th. We girls visit the restaurant many Saturdays and looked forward to seeing Maria and her ever pleasant smile. So very very sorry. God bless your family. Natalie, Jean, Peggy & Bobbie.

Our family is deeply sad at hearing of the death of Maria. We have been patrons of their restaurant since it opened and we live in Willow Ridge. We will miss seeing her smiling face every Saturday morning when we went for breakfast. We always talked about our children and what an important part of our life they are. Maria is truly missed.

We were just informed about Maria's passing last evening. Our frequent trips to the Blvd Family Restaurant will never be the same. Maria always had time to sit and talk with us, we shared stories about our hair cuts and new glasses, what type of Ugg boots were we going to buy this year. My husband made her a cheese cake once, and all we heard afterward was, " When am I getting another cheesecake?" I feel like I have lost a sister. I hope your family will find comfort in all the memories she has left behind. She was a wonderful, kind, bubbly person who will surely be missed.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.

And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

We are all so blessed for having known Maria.
One thing I will not forgot learning from Maria is to gladly accept all offers of gifts from others. LOL
I ALWAYS think of her when I accept cookies, favors, a paid lunch- whatever. So funny.
Maria, thank you for all the great memories in good times and bad times. Things were always a little easier when you were around during the trials and much more fun during the hilarious great times we have shared.
Come visit me in my dreams and tell me something good!

I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn that one of my dearest friends had passed. I have known Maria for 20 years and she was truly one of the kindest and most generous people I knew.
