Of Williamsville, NY; age 94. Beloved wife of 72 years to Laurence Beahan, MD. Devoted mother of Laurence (Cynthia), Nicholas, and the late Jesse Beahan. Cherished grandmother to Laurence "Toby"(Nicole), Jennifer "Benna", Alexander, and Angela Beahan. Dear sister of Donald (late Mary) Schmitz and Ronald (Suzanne) Schmitz. Lyn graduated with a BA in Psychology from the University of Buffalo in 1951. Summers, in college, she loved working at Canadian resorts in the Muskokas. Lyn and Larry met at UB and married soon after. They and their three sons lived in Japan for four years while he was an Air Force doctor. Upon returning home from Japan Marilyn became a volunteer with the Red Cross Blood Mobile, E.J, Meyer Grey Lady's volunteer, president of the Harlem Road grammar school PTA, President of the Buffalo Medical Society Women's Auxiliary and Cub Scout Den Mother as well as the office manager for her husband's medical practice. Marilyn loved travel and planned family vacations to many parts of the world. She bowled and skied and was a dedicated sailor aboard the family sailboat, Coyote. Family will be present on Friday September 5th from 10:00 AM to 12 PM at the (Tonawanda Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2600 Sheridan Dr. (corner of Parker Blvd.) where Funeral Services will follow at 12 PM. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, contributions may be made in Marilyn's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Western New York Chapter, or the American Heart Association.
