Mark Privitera Obituary

Privitera, Mark J.

September 21, 1957 - May 4, 2024

Of Angola, NY, May 4, 2024. Beloved husband of Victoria Privitera. Loving father of Alexandra and Elizabeth Privitera. Beloved son of Carol and the late Giro Joseph Privitera. Dearly loved brother of Karyn (Privitera) Aldin and the late Kim O'Keefe-Pierce. Loving uncle of Shane O'Keefe and Rylee Pierce. He will be remembered for his deep love for his family, nature and animals, his cherished dogs Hubble and Carter. ECMC fellow co-workers said Mark had the kindest heart, inventing "true care" for patients. He was a true example of Jesus' quest to give "the shirt off your back" to a fellow man in need. An avid reader, he loved philosophy and Shakespeare. Also a lifetime Buffalo Bills fan. Mark was a Veteran of the United States Air force. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May, 17, 2024 at 10 AM in St. Anthony's Church, Farnham, NY, followed by Military Honors. Brunch will be served at church, following services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie County SPCA. Arrangements by the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC., Angola, NY
