Teresa "Terry"
(nee Seymour)
Of Sunset Bay, NY, joined Our Lord on May 9, 2025, at the age of 96. Mary Teresa dedicated her life to 25 grandchildern, 42 great-grandchildren and her husband Bob and their 9 children: Bob (Bev); Kathy (Jeff) Williams; Mary Lou Wode of NJ; Tim (Mary K); Peg (Gary) Anstey of CT; Albert Wode; Beth (Mark) Butterwegge of MO; Eileen (Karl Schurkus) and Larry (Laurie) of OH. Mary Teresa was predeceased by her parents Harry and Mary (nee Appleton); sister Louise; brothers Rev. Francis, Paul and Edward Seymour. Her husband, Robert passed in 2015 after 65 years together. Mary worked 15 years at Fisher Price, becoming the Supervisor of Data Entry. Mary Teresa was a woman of great faith, which she shared with the youth at 14 Holy Helpers teaching and supervising the confirmation program from 1981-1992. She continued her passion at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Silver Creek, NY. Mary was proud to be one of the first Eucharistic Laity Ministers and as a lector, she shared the Word of God. Mary loved to sew, garden, ice skate, plan parties, play board games, camp, ski, travel across the country, including Hawaii, Alaska and Ireland. Mary Teresa's engaging smile and kind heart will be greatly missed. Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave., Silver Creek, NY on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 4 pm-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 10 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 165 Central Ave Silver Creek, NY. In lieu of flowers Mary's favorite charity is: Padre Pio Foundation of America, 463 Main Street, Crowell, CT 06416 www.padrepio.com. Share condolences at www.holeparkerfc.com
