January 6, 2021, of Lancaster, NY, passed away at the age of 78. MaryAnn was born in Buffalo, NY, to the late Peter and Anna (nee Boltz) McPartland. Known as "Mac" to her friends, she graduated from Mt. St. Joseph's Academy in 1961. MaryAnn is survived by her husband of 30 years, Timothy N. Tole and her five children, Eric (Elaina) Wurl, AnnMarie (Troy) Durrance, Jennifer (Jon) Gatto, Aaron (Linda) Wurl and Gretchen (David) Sherriff; cherished grandmother of ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; survived by brother James (Kathy) McPartland and the late Patrick (Dorothy) McPartland. Special Aunt to many nieces and nephews. MaryAnn is most remembered for her cooking, her love of family, her enthusiastic singing (especially Happy Birthday), her goofy dancing, and her willingness to laugh at herself. Our "Big Toe," "Sgt. Hulka," Mom, Ma, MeMa, Gramma and Hon. The loss of you is immeasurable, but so is the love you have left behind. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, at 10:00 AM, at St. Philip the Apostle Parish, 950 Losson Rd., Cheektowaga. Please assemble at Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maryann's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Pursuant to NYS guidelines, face coverings and social distancing are required at the church.
