Was born in Cheektowaga, N.Y., to the late Linda (nee Stephan) Aldinger and late Nelson James Aldinger. She is survived by sister Janiece Marie Aldinger (spouse Tim Clavin), and brother Thomas Nelson Aldinger (spouse Andrea Aldinger); and nephews Tyler and Tristan Aldinger; niece Emma Clavin; and great-niece Amora Aldinger.

Megan grew up with her family in the country and enjoyed riding and training her horse Star. She attended Alfred University and completed degree in Secretarial science. Her career as legal secretary highlighted her proficient skills in shorthand and typing as well as her keen ability to connect with people. She was a hard working gal, always maintaining a second job. Unfortunately, her ambitions were cut short by heartbreaking diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. She battled MS with fierceness and fought for her independence over many years. She loved keeping up with the lives of friends and family. Her heart was also filled with love for animals especially her cat, Jacob. She made friends easily and has special memories of her caregivers and fellow residents at Havenwood Apartments and Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility. We will miss her quick wit, direct manner and fun conversations. She lived in the hope of Jesus and looked forward to paradise where physical disabilities will no longer limit her soul. Family will be present to receive friends at the Darien Disciple Church, 1951 Broadway, Darien Center, N.Y., on Tuesday, October 14th from 2 to 3 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Upstate New York Chapter, in honor of Megan, or the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility Comfort Room; made payable to the Wyoming County Hospital Foundation, 400 N.
