Beloved husband of Shelley (nee Cieslak); devoted father of Michael G. (Lori) Sonnenfeld, and Julie (Jordan) McGuire; loving grandfather of Carter, Chase, Emery, Maverick, and Ty; dearest son of late Teresa (nee Monczynski), and late Gerard Sonnenfeld; dearest brother of Kathleen (William) Muhlenbeck, Patrick (Valerie) Sonnenfeld, and the late Faith (late Michael) Czapla. Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Josaphat Parish, William at Peoria Sts., Saturday, Dec. 6th at 10 am. Online condolences: www.Pietszak.com.

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing away..We go way back to school 71.,82 and Kensington H.S..Mike was such a nice guy..He had a great smile..Once in awhile I would run into him at the grocery store..He was always with his Shelley. May you rest in heavenly peace, Mike..

He was a great friend and in law father to our daughter. We always enjoyed his company and the many interests we had in common. A wonderful family man. Always so proud of his children. A man who loved his wife Shelly and the long marriage they shared. He will be missed but we will have such wonderful memories to recall him. God Bless Mike Rest in Peace ✝❤
