Beloved husband of Maria (Lopez) Vitiello. Loving father of Gina (Jacqueline Chavez) Vitiello, Michael (Julie) Vitiello and Anthony (Maria) Vitiello. Cherished grandfather of Joseph Vitiello, Claudia and Gabriel Chavez-Vitiello, Enzo and Benny Vitiello and the late Julian Chavez-Vitiello. Dear brother of the late Ralph (Mary) Vitello, Andrew (Lillian) Vitello, Josephine (Ray) Evans and Frank (Angela) Vitello. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 911 Englewood Ave. on Monday, September 22nd from 4 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Church (200 St. Gregory Court, Williamsville, 14221) on Tuesday, September 23rd at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org). My father and I just heard and are so sorry we didn´t know to pay our respects. Mike was a wonderful man and friend to my dad - he is part of my many good memories drawing up on Norwalk and walking around the block to visit with my dad! Our sincerest sympathies .
