Of South Buffalo, NY after a brave battle with cancer. beloved husband of Sheila (nee Munley) Wirth; loving father of Kathryn Wirth, Kelly (Benjamin) Friedman and Christopher (Stacy) Wirth: cherished grandpa of Samuel, Luke, Nora, Ryan and Molly; dearest son of the late Robert and Lucille (nee Bodekor) Wirth; dear brother of Robert (June) Wirth, Kathleen (Kenneth) Wass, Lawrence (Peggy) Wirth and Ann (Gary) Halter; also survived by nieces and nephews; dear friend of John Busch. Family will be present to receive friends Friday, September 5, 2025 from 3-7 pm at the (Blasdell/Lackawanna Chapel) JOHN J. KACZOR FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3450 South Park Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Charity Parish-St. Ambrose Worship Site, 260 Okell St., Buffalo, NY 14220. (Please assemble at Church). Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Michael worked for the FDA for 42 years and was a proud graduate of the College of Forestry at Syracuse University. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to The Muscular Dystrophy Association Share condolences at www.kaczorfunerals.com
