(nee Mascia)
Of South Buffalo, entered into rest September 6, 2022. Devoted mother of John J. (Christine) Jr. and Jason A. (Colleen) Canonico; cherished grandmother of Katelynn (David) Sexton, Carli, and Carmen Canonico; adored great-grandmother of Jayden Sexton; loving daughter of the late Carmen and Mary Mascia; dear sister of Barbara (Gregory) Kasza and the late Robert (Susan) Mascia; also survived by family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Wednesday from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Charity Parish (St. Ambrose Worship Site), 65 Ridgewood Rd., South Buffalo, on Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock (please assemble at church). Inurnment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Nancy was a very active member of numerous church organizations throughout the South Buffalo community. I just found out about Nancy´s passing. I worked with Nancy for many years at BMHA Public Safety. She was a great colleague and co-worker. She was a stabilizing force for the Department, and most importantly, a lovable and friendly person. It was an honor to have known her. She will be missed.
