Age 96 of the City of Tonawanda, December 29, 2025. Wife of the late Kennard M. Stryker who died in 2001, mother of Kathleen (late Gene) Lovett, Doug Stryker, Diane (Carl) Harper, Dave (Krista) Stryker and Craig (Cynthia) Stryker, Grandmother of Dave (Amy), Hannah (Mike), Benjamin, William, Daniel, Christopher, Lauren and Rachel (fiance Kullen) and Great Grandmother of Lucy and Killian. Sister of Sally (John) Sherman and the late Nancy (living spouse Jack) Staffen. Also many nieces and nephews. Norma was a life long active member of Salem United Church of Christ where she was a Nursery School Teacher and Sunday School Teacher. She began her teaching career at Fletcher School. Norma was also a member of the Historical Society of the Tonawandas and a Girl Scout Leader for many years and was also a volunteer for numerous community organizations. The family is very thankful for the many aids who cared for her. Calling hours will be held on Monday January 5, 2026 from 4-8 PM at JOHN 0. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St., (between Morgan & Broad Sts) City of Tonawanda. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Tuesday January 6, 2026 at 11 AM in SALEM UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 114 Morgan St. City of Tonawanda. Everyone welcome to attend. The Rev. Lisa Drysdale will officiate. A private burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Norma may be made to Salem United Church of Christ.
