Of Stanfield, NC, born in Buffalo, NY, age 89. Beloved husband of Geri (nee Poswy) Faust; loving father of Michael (Kelly) Faust, Robert (Paulette) Faust, Alice (Dave) Biel, and Susan (Michael) Woodard; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. A graduate of St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, Norm served in the Navel Reserves. He was employed by NY Telephone, later Verizon for 32 years. For a period he served as the shop steward for his union, the Communications Workers of America. After retirement, Norm and Geri moved to Florida, and they joined the Telephone Pioneers, a community service group. Norm enjoyed playing softball and fishing. Later Norm and Geri moved to North Carolina to be close to family.
