To Kathie, and the entire family. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Patrick, but I am thinking of all of you now, wishing you peace thru your memories, and comfort knowing Patrick's suffering is over.

Dear Kathy,
I am so sorry to hear of your brothers passing. Always remember the good time you had with him. As you probably remember,I too lost my sister Mary Ann at the young age of 44. That was in 1987 to this day I think of her everyday and miss her. They are both looking down on us and are cancer free.
God Bless and rest in peace.

Dear Pat,Today your family celebrated you at your Memorial. Mom,Ken, Linda, Jack, Janet, Whitey,Kathie, Carol, and Tom with their children and great-nieces and great-nephews. We looked at old photos from when you were just a kid and photos of your beautiful son Zachary and Kris. It brought back great memories in the "country" when we use to camp. You always loved the "outdoors" in Varysburg where we spent our summers at Grandma and Grandpa Bauman"s and Aunt Ruthie and Uncle Bills houses in the country! You loved the warm sunshine and the beach in Florida where you had many friends. I recently heard the story that you had saved a little boy on the boardwalk from being abducted and you were a hero in which we never heard you say anything about it, you just did the right thing to help a child in need and took action.I am soo proud of you for what you did and you are a "Hero" to me.We celebrated you with a country and beach theme of trees that your sister Carol planted and seashells from Florida. The trees will live on in your memory...You were strong and determined while fighting this cancer that took so much from you but your mind and heart fought it until the end... CANCER REALLY SUCKS... We will all remember our "Little Brother Pat" and we will all be together someday with Dad, Maryann,Uncle Gene,Aunt Ruthie and Uncle Bill, Uncle Wally and Aunt Pat,Aunt Lorraine, and many others. I will always treasure the beautiful chonch shell you gave me back in the 80's it reminds me of you when I hear the ocean in my ear. We all love you and Mom will always have 9 children, you have only gone to rest and it there is a Heaven then I'm sure your on the beach enjoying the sun and the sound of the surf listening to great music with your friends. We will all be ok here because we know that you are no longer in pain and suffering. We will see you through your son Zachary Patrick Gehring. I Love you and Good-bye for now, Kathie xoxo

You fought til the end and it was peaceful to see you end all your suffering. I had not seen you in years and even at the end you were still such a gentleman, thinking & worrying about everyone else. Rest in peace my friend.

Pat,
To my brother, for all the fun times we shared. I'm happy I got to know who you were as a person. You were kind, thoughtful and caring. You also loved napkins! We shared so many memories. You will always have a special place in my heart and I will never forget you. In memory of you, I will plant a tree. You wanted a plant that would not die. You will not be forgotten. I hope you are with Dad and all of the other angels, they will watch over you and I hope that you will watch over me. You are not suffering anymore. You are at peace and you are free. So sad to see you leave. This is my goodbye to you. I will see you on the other side one day. I will miss you so much, Pat.
I Love You,
Carol
