I remember MSGR when he was a young priest at Prince of Peace. I went to grade school there. Sometimes during recess he would often show up and jump rope with us, one of my fondest memories of him and my elementary school experiences.

How well I remember Rev MSGR Paul Letourneau as a child going to Prince of Peace after school classes.
A very nice man with glasses then if I remember correctly. Bishop Ed Grosz wrote to me to inform me of his passing.
A fine young man and priest that served God and God's people well
My prayers are with you

Dear Nora,

Please accept my sincerest prayers and deepest sympathy on the loss of your brothers, Paul and Patrick. Word of Patrick's passing came several days after that of Father Paul.

Father Paul was a fine priest, a true servant of God. In the years at OLC, I saw compassion personified. If Fr. Paul could be of help to anyone at any time, he was there.

I have been stationed in Hawaii for the last two and a half years and regret that I could not participate in person for the Mass of Christian Burial. However, Deb attended and shared the beauty and love that was present. I have been remembering both Patrick and Paul in prayer, and of course, you have been in my prayers as you continue this journey, knowing that your brothers now have their hearts' desire.

Blessings of peace and deep faith be yours in the days to come.

My love and prayers remain with you.

Father Paul, our dear cousin, will be sorely missed at the cottage. Always open arms, a quick smile, a kind word, a thoughtful card, he was beloved by all our family. Father Paul helped so many by coming to help and comfort when someone was ill or dying.
He married my husband and I, and added so much joy and ease to our wedding day. He presented us with the beautiful gift of an inscripted Bible, which we hold dear.
Father Paul was very proud of his heritage, loved fishing and board games, making it a joy to be around him.
Like a father to us all, we mourn his passing.

Father was a dear family friend, we enjoyed many holidays together. He will truly be missed but we know he's at the right hand of his Boss as he served Him and the Catholic Community for many years.

I remember Fr.Letourneau very well from Prince Of Peace Church & School. He also performed my baptism 47 years ago in which I am viewing the pictures as I write this. Time surely has passed by quickly. Grant Eternal rest to your Servant, O Lord.

So sorry to hear that Father Letourneau passed. I remember him quite fondly since he was our priest at the then St Charles church in Niagara Falls and also a customer of mine at the bank. We just had my husband's funeral 3 days ago, and I remember he played cards with Father, Nick , Isabelle, and others. I hope you two meet up there and get to play a hand or two. God Bless you, Mary Pietrocarlo, Phoenix, Az

I ditto the thoughts of Father Letournean being a big part of my teen years at Prince of Peace. He was so attuned to the youth in the parish. I, too, will never forget him.
