Paula HARTIG Obituary
September 16, 2020, age 69, of Clarence, NY, beloved daughter of the late Norman H. and Florence M. (nee Zaborowska) Hartig and the late Albert A. Drdul; dearest sister of Norman F. (Mary S.) Hartig and Mark S. (Tracey) Hartig; dear aunt of Andrew (Coreen) Hartig, Mark Hartig, Jr. and Jordan Hartig; great-aunt of Charles, Caroline, Alexander and Mark III Hartig. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Sunday, September 27th, from 1-4 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd., Depew). Family and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday in Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel (Union Rd. and Genesee St.) at 10 AM. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

I was just told of Paula’s passing. We went to Bishop Colton High School class of 1969. Last saw her at one of our class reunions. Paula was very intelligent, gracious, and kind. She will be missed. My condolences to her family.

My husband Dr.Hani Nabi and I have fond memories of Paula as we all worked together in the Department of Nuclear Medicine at UB. She was a stoic pillar to the department and we cannot describe how sad we are for her loss. May god speed her to her heavenly place in heaven! She was an angel here on earth.

Dear Family- I am sad to learn of Paula's passing. I knew Paula as a kind, faith filled , genuine lady over the past 25+ years working at the Department of Nuclear Medicine. She would talk of her nieces and nephews so fondly and of the children she taught faith formation classes to. Have no doubt God called her forth to His eternal kingdom, to fullness of peace and joy. Paula, a positive, upbeat and friendly lady. We first met her when becoming members of the Catholic Alumni Club of Buffalo, New York. While in her presence, she always expressed such friendly conversation, and interest in how we and our family were doing. We were so blessed to know her and share many CAC celebrations with her. Family and Friends of Paula:
We were shocked and saddened to hear the sudden passing away of our friend Paula. I knew Paula from day one of her affiliation with the dept. of Nuclear Medicine. One of the most pleasant and cheerful staff members of the department with dedication in her assigned job. Although we did not have any opportunity to meet anyone of you (family members except her beloved mother), knowing Paula's character, my wife Sara and I could imagine how much you all loved her and cared for her, and how much it could affect you all with the sudden Loss of Paula at her young age. Wishing you all strength and peace during this hard time. Praying the for her soul.

I met Paula through Beth Giltner. The 3 of us had dinner together several times when I was in the area. Paula was a nice lady. My condolences to her family and friends
