Age 86. Beloved husband of 66 years to Joanne (nee Rhoades) Cambio; devoted father of Peter J. (Juanita), Richard M., Sr. (Sally), Anthony (Lisa), Christine (Patrick) Serra, and Susan (Kurt) Theisen; loving grandfather of Peter A., Anthony (Aimee), Brianna (Mike), Richard M., Jr. (Danielle), Andrew, Macy (Bill), Taylor, Zachary, Nicholas, Lucas, Maria, and Adriana; adored great-grandfather of Ainsley, Avery, Molly, Oliver, Dominic, Theodore, and Nolan; predeceased by siblings Stella (late Joseph) Malandra, Angelo (late Elsie) Cambio, Louis Cambio, Lucy Narde, and Mary Ann Mageese; also survived by many nieces and nephews.The family will be present Friday from 4-7 PM at the Urban-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 3645 Genesee St. (near Union Rd.). Family and friends are invited to assemble Saturday at 10 AM to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christian's Chapel, 4125 Union Rd., Cheektowaga, NY 14225. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo Inc. or Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute. Peter was the owner & operator of Pete Cambio's Pro Shop and was a three time Hall of Fame Bowler in the Elmira, Buffalo and NYS Bowling Association. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and NY Yankees fan.
