Of Depew, entered into rest on December 8, 2023. Beloved partner of Malerie Snyder; devoted step-father of Julian; loving son of Thomas (Anita Ortiz) Whelan and Marie (Dennis) Jagiello; dear brother of Thomas and Luke Whelan and Ryan and Sean Davis; cherished uncle of Marina, Maris, and Tommy Whelan; also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Phillip attended Lake Shore High School. No prior visitation. A celebration of life will be held in St. Francis High School Chapel, 4129- Lake Shore Rd., Hamburg on Saturday (January 20) at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Phil's honor may be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness Buffalo and Erie County or Buddy's Second Chance Rescue. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel). Online condolences may be made at www.lombardofuneralhome.com.
