Dearest Peggy Charlie Lea Malka Mom & Dad and Jeremiah

I really don't know if this is the appropriate venue to share our thoughts and regrets for your loss. It is extremely difficult as your Brother to see you go thru this pain. Especially seeing Peggy this way. No parent should have to experience a tragedy of burying their child. Peggy & Charlie we can hardly express the deep loss we feel for Rachel. As I read through the many thoughts that are being shared in this Guest book and see the love that is expressed for Rachel I gives me strength to know that she was a very special daughter. We were blessed to have her in our lives for 31 years and we will keep her in our hearts forever.

We love you

I was a student of Mrs. White's when she taught fifth grade English. She's always been one of my favorite teachers. We both watched a relatively unknown show called Firefly and I gave her DVD copies of the first and only season. Even when she was no longer my teacher, when we passed each other in the hall she would tell me about the last episode of Firefly she had seen. That always brightened my day. I miss those days already.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Dear Mr. White and the Sysman family,
It never makes sense, it never seems fair, that the best and brightest stars are extinguished before their time. Our hearts break for you. Our son was having a horrible time surviving the transition from 4th to 5th grade last year to the point of breakdown. Along with some other very talented and compassionate Mill Staff, Rachel took him under her wing and gave him the self composure and esteem boosts to help him transition. I will never forget how she felt about her students-she told us once "that they're all my kids."
Pleases accept our empathies at this very difficult time....
As Above, So Below
Sincerely, Dave and Tracie Lee Strickland

It is with heartfelt sadness that I write in this book. Although we only met Rachel a few times, our memories of her are of a beautiful young girl who never stopped smiling and making those around her feel at ease and comfortable. Please know that we are thinking of you at this most difficult time in your lives and that we will be keeping you in our thoughts, in our hearts, and in our prayers. The loss of a child is so difficult.....may you come together as a family and remember the joy Rachel brought to each of you.
