Age 94. Beloved husband of 71 years to Olga M. (nee Kempker) Apfel; devoted father of Carl Apfel and Gary (Lisa) Apfel; loving grandfather of William, Russell (Hope Clark) and Joseph; also survived by nieces and nephews. The family will be present Tuesday from 4-6:30 PM at the (Tonawanda Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2600 Sheridan Dr., (at Parker Blvd.), where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6:30 PM. Interment held privately. If so desired, Memorials may be made to Zion United Church of Christ, 15 Koenig Cir., Tonawanda, NY 14150. Richard was a United States Army Korean War Veteran.
