MISCHLER - Richard P.
October 8, 2021, age 76. Beloved son of the late Franklin J. and June R. (née Diem) Mischler. Loving brother of Joyce (late Charles) Pelcin, David (Nancy) Mischler, Judy (late James) Huber, William (Daniel Quane), Frank (Sarah), Aelfwine (Mohamed Bayoumy), and John (Kathleen) Mischler. Richard grew up at the family business, Mischler's Florist, and attended Saints Peter and Paul School, Williamsville. Richard delivered the Metro News for several years in the South Forest/South Union neighborhood. After working many years in the family business, he worked at Denny's and Wendy's in Williamsville. He attended Saints Peter and Paul Church in Williamsville and was an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and was an usher for Saturday Mass. He was also a member of the Canisius College Sodality of Our Lady and an usher at Shea's Performing Arts Center. Richard often traveled with People, Inc. of Western New York including visits to Rome and throughout the United States. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who took delight in playing with his building sets and Matchbox toy collection. The family will be present to receive friends Sunday, October 17th from 4-8 PM at BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5541 Main Street (at Cayuga Rd) Williamsville. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday morning, October 18th at 9:30 in SS Peter & Paul Church, Williamsville. Masks required. Please assemble at church.
