Richard NEWELL Obituary

NEWELL - Richard M.
Born April 22, 1926, passed away on December 25, 2020, and was laid to rest on May 21, 2021. Richard was born in Audubon County, Iowa. Served in World War II as Aviation Machinist's Mate Second Class with the US Navy. After the war, he graduated from Iowa State University in 1950. He married his late wife, Margaret in 1945, they were married for 74 years. They moved to Buffalo, NY in 1961. Richard opened RM Newell Co. Inc., which is still in business today. Richard and Margaret built a home together on Reist St. in Williamsville where they lived for over 50 years. An avid golfer, Richard was a member of the Park Country Club of Buffalo. Richard will be dearly missed by his surviving children and grandchildren. Arrangements by THE DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME, INC.
