of Hamburg, at the age of 83 on March 9th, 2023. Husband of Theresa J. (nee Stoklosa) Pawlas. Brother of Joy Pawlas (John Johnson) and Robert (Rosemary) Pawlas. Brother-in-Law of John (late Kitty) Stoklosa and the late Louis (late Carol) Stoklosa. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Cremation by NORMAN E. GANNON & SONS, Inc. FUNERAL HOME, 1075 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna (716-824-4000) has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Angels Parish, Electric Ave. & Warsaw St., Lackawanna on Saturday March 25th at 9:30 a.m. Burial at Lakeside Memorial Park will be private. Mr. Pawlas was a Basketball Player known as Dick "Hooker" Pawlas. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation. Please visit
