I was saddened to learn of your husband's death in our Buffalo paper here recently. I recall your scouting days with great fondness and would really appreciate hearing from you if at all possible. My deepest sympathy, E. Gregorina Cooper-Batavia, NY

Dear Gail,
I am so sorry to hear the news of Bob's death. He was a wonderful man with a unique perspective on life and that unforgettable wry sense of humor.
It's been years since I've seen you, but I'll never forget life on Forest Avenue and those crazy investment club meetings. We certainly had some great times being young and nuts!
Then, as most of us stayed in WNY, you two went off on your odyssey, full of adventure, curiosity, and high spirits-a great pair of explorers.
Please accept my sincere sympathy and know that I am thinking of you and your family.

Betsy,
Don and I are saddened by the passing of your Dad. The years pass too fast and we are all in your shoes much too quickley. He was a very nice and interesting man and we are sure you have many wonderful memories to fall back on in the coming months and years.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My fondest memories of Six Mile Lake was the year I was a nanny to your three children. I will forever have the picture in my mind of your Christmas card that year, when you posed with Bob's dislocated shoulder and Gail's black eye. Your family always celebrated life's little moments!

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He and my dad were great friends and shared many projects together on Six Mile Lake building our respective cottages. They shared intellectual conversations, fun and friendship. My fondest memories are learning to ride the board while Bob Drove the boat.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. I have had the good fortune of being one of Betsy´s childhood friends, and growing up with her and her family. Their´s was a welcoming household, with an atmosphere of warmth, motivation and learning. There are so many fond memories: As a child I still remember Robert explaining how computors work. As an adult I remember the warm welcome and fun, when introducing my husband and son to Robert and Gail. Thank you. Kristin and Geir (Iceland)
