Robert J. McTighe ("Bob"), age 78, of Buffalo entered into eternal rest on June 14, 2024. Bob was the loving son of the late Thomas and Ann (Lawless) McTighe. He is survived by his sister, Ann (Joseph) Karb, nephews Michael (Rebecca) Karb, David Karb, Paul Karb, and great nephews and niece Matthew, Michaela and Braeden Karb. Bob was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force including deployment in Vietnam. Following his service, he was employed by National Fuel Gas in Tonawanda, where he also served as an IBEW Union representative. In retirement, Bob's dedicated service continued as a volunteer director of the Disabled American Veterans' transportation program. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph University Parish, 3269 Main Street, Buffalo NY, on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Interment proceedings at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Elmwood Avenue, Kenmore, NY will take place following the Mass.
