SPOTH - Robert J. Of Swormville, NY, July 24, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Dolores (nee Vaawerk); dearest father of Janice (late Carl) Peters, Karen (Robert) Mayer, Juliann, Dorothy (Denny) Gallagher, Richard (Kristi), Maryann (Gordon) Smith, Steven (Cindy) and the late Robert. Grandfather of 17, great-grandfather of 22. Son of the late Martin and the late Clara (nee Fiegl); brother of Jean (Alen) Turton and predeceased by brothers and sisters. Services from THE URBAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 6685 Transit Rd., East Amherst, NY (south of County and North French Rds.) Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. and from St. Mary's Chapel, Swormville, at 10 a.m. Mr. Spoth was an exempt member of Swormville Fire Company and the Parish Holy Name Society. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial to Wells Hospice at Beechwood.
