Roger SCHWAB Obituary

SCHWAB - Roger J.
Of Clarence. June 24, 2023. Loved an adventure and lived life with no regrets, no fear. Determined and passionate, when he set his mind to something he persevered until he reached his goal, like that time he won a world championship in arm wrestling! He lived life in the fast lane. A highly skilled motorcycle rider as well as a mechanic, when he wasn't racing bikes he was often seen riding them. But you had to look fast because he had a need for speed. Persuasive and crafty he could sell sand in the Sahara desert. He could be brutally frank but was true to his word. Rog was a jokester who loved a good prank, that sometimes didn't go over well! He was intelligent, handsome and funny (maybe a bit vain and conceited as well, but his hair was always perfect!) In short, he loved life. Here's a brewski to you Rog. Roger is survived by his wife, Isabel. His siblings, Sophie Ann (David), Leo (Anna), Denise (Ed). Nieces and nephews: Hallie, Gracie, Jack, Adam, Destin, Summer. WOW bro, you damn sure took an early out, testing the edges of physics as normal I would believe. Thanks for the times we did that as kids.
I do Miss you but in the vortex of soul we burn brightly and will continue.

My heartfelt condolences to you all. Roger's impact on my life remains to this day. His passion for motorcycles, among other things rubbed off on me and to this day I think about the good old days riding and of course wrenching on our dirt bikes. Far too young a man he was to pass. He will forever be remembered and missed.

Wow ... it truly was a privilege "Growing Up Schwab" ... Kerosene Karrots and all.

I have no words to express the disciplined love I witnessed from that epicenter of Java.
Roger and his siblings were blessed in so many ways and I still smile in awe of their accomplishments.
Hopefully the brilliance in the sly smile Roger always seemed to have on his face will be captured in words ... like he "thought" he was one up on you ... a true master and tactician.
I am blessed to be held close as his Best Friend. Whew.

Not sure what will become of the memories, but I am no longer wasting my time holding in the genius that was Rog.
Without his "tactics" in my young life, I would not be as fearless as I believe I became.

Being on the forever edge of Physics was a challenge.
I have both eyes, all fingers and toes ... lol.
my hearing is a bit strained from the unannounced "BURSTS" from Sophie ...that were close and personal ... I learned how not to flinch.

It was very helpful.
Or was it the explosions?
Huh? Are your ears ringing? Huh?

Yes, I loved my best friend for who he was completely.
A genius.

I am forever grateful for walking this planet with you my brother.

See you on the next one.

Isabel, Leo, Sophie, Denise: So sorry to hear of Roger's passing. He was far too young. I remember the fun times we had as children at the "Adventurers Club," and playing in our adjoining yards a long time ago.My condolences to you all.
