It is with profound sadness when I learned of your passing just yesterday, Roger. Residing outside of New York State these past 40 plus years, I did look forward to our class reunions. I cannot imagine the next one will not be met with our loss for your absence. You offered leadership to our class at Starpoint. Your quick wit and humor made friendship easy. My deepest condolences to your family. May you find peace in going home and Our Lord give comfort to your family, old friend.

To the family of Roger,
I will always remember his smile, back in the old days of Starpoint. My last visit with him was at the 40th class reunion. My prayers go out to you.

I played softball against Roger years ago in the Bar Association league. I noticed him because he was one of the best players. We had several cases together and I found he was a great guy and a gentleman. Years later I spoke with him when he came to my father's wake and funeral. I didn't even know that he knew my father, who was also a lawyer and an avid softball player. It was important for Roger to pay his respects. It made a big impact on me and my family. I'm thankful for his support when I was having a difficult time. He was a good man.

I went to Starpoint with Roger & he was a good friend. I remember him playing basketball & baseball with great love. We gathered with friends & worked together over the years for each class reunion. He touched many lives & made many friends. We grieve with you. Your loss is ours.

To The Scott Family,
My Family and I are saddened to hear that Roger has left us. He was one of my late father's (Coach Baum) favorites and it meant so much not only to my dad, but the rest of my family when Roger reached out to him during his last days. I still have the football they all signed from their undefeated season and will always cherish the memories Roger left us with. He will always be fondly remembered in our family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time.

To The Scott Family, I met Roger when he was a tour guide, along with Tim Wagner and Richard Gerlach, both dear friends of mine. Roger was always having fun with life. Everyone truly enjoyed being around him especially during the tourist season which was the best summer of my life. Roger helped make it that way. He was always so generous that he allowed me to wash the spokes of his Jaguar XKE. He never let me drive it. That was at the time his pride and joy! Hopefully he still owned it. I am extremely saddened upon Rogers' passing. My condolences to his family. Ken Burdick "The Petroleum Prince".

Dear Heidi: I am so sorry. You were so wonderful to Roger. You were by his side constantly and you were so very strong through this horrible time. Roger was one of a kind and will be missed and remembered by everyone who knew him. We enjoyed him stopping by the office for a chat and always made everyone smile - quite the charmer. I'm so glad I got to know him and call him "my friend." I hope we can keep in touch. With sincere sympathy, Sue

I had the pleasure of working with Roger for many many years and loved him dearly. He always faced each challenge in life with courage and humor and cared deeply about people. I am so grateful that we had our last visit recently and shared our last hug and kiss. He so deeply loved his wife and adored his kids. How lucky we all were to have him in our lives.
