Rudolph CHERKAUER Obituary
April 24, 2021 of Amherst, NY. Beloved husband of Anita (Llamas) and the late Betty (King) Cherkauer; dear father of Douglas, Kevin, Brian (Dennise), Deborah (Terry) Hammond and the late Linda Cherkauer; loving grandfather of Keith (Laura), Scott (Erin), Hannah (Cosmo), Max Cherkauer and Kari (Daniel) Hamad; brother of the late Ethel (late Richard) Snodgrass and the late John (Carol) Cherkauer; also survived by seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Dr. Cherkauer was an Air Craft Pilot of B-24 during WWII and a Professor of Mathematics at the State University College at Buffalo from 1948-1988.Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service with Military Honors on Thursday, May 6th, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, at 12 Noon (please assemble at cemetery office). Condolences may be shared online at www.lesterwedekindtfuneralhome.com.
