Russell KOCH Obituary
May 4, 2021. Son of the late Joseph A. and Helen (Dueringer) Koch; beloved husband of Jean (nee VanTuyl) Koch; loving father of Steven (Colette) of Denver, CO, Jeffrey, Matthew (Lori) Koch of Falls Church, VA and Kelly (Kevin) James; dearest grandfather of Clayton (Lauren), Phillip Koch, Gregory James, Jocelyn James and Avery Koch; brother of Richard (Mary Jo) Koch and the late Vernon (Betty) and Donald (Natalie) Koch; also survived by nieces and nephews. Russell retired as a court reporter for Family Court, State of NY. He was a graduate of Canisius High School, a longtime member of St. Gregory the Great Parish, and a hockey coach in Amherst and at St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute. No prior visitation. I am very sorry to hear your Dad passed away Matt and family. He was a great guy and coach with our Amherst hockey teams. His jokes kept me loose as a goose as a goalie even before what seemed like big games. Having fun was always #1. He will be missed and I´m sure he will try and make my father laugh again in the court room in heaven. RIP Mr Koch
