COHAN - Ruth A. May 30, 2016, under Hospice care at home. Preceded in death by her husband John Cohan. Survived by her sister Selma (Morris) Savren of Cleveland, niece Paula (Chad) Tiedemann of Washington, D.C., nephew Clifford (Laura) Savren of Ra'nana, Israel, great-nieces Grace Tiedemann, Jamie and Jill Savren, "bloodless relatives" Ruthellen Bunis, Russell Baker, Abigail Unger, and the Kusakari family of Japan. Ruth donated her body to The Anatomical Gift Program at The UB Medical School. A celebration of her life and reception will be at The Mansion, 414 Delaware Avenue, Friday July 8th at 4:00 PM. Donations may be made to The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra or to the Buffalo Chamber Music Society.
