of Buffalo, NY entered into rest after a brief illness; Beloved husband of the late Ann (nee Doyle); devoted father of Mary Julia (Rafael) Schutz, Stanley L. (Romana), Ann B. (Michael) Roth, Clare (Kevin) Ganey, Michael T. (Gretchen), Timothy (Naomi Kagetsu), John D. (Shari), and Justin D. (Lori Peters);cherished grandfather of seventeen and eight great grandchildren; dear brother of the late Thomas P. (Marie-Madeleine) Bukowski, PhD. of Falls Church, VA and late William M. (late Bete) Bukowski, M.D. and numerous nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. Arrangements by The Dietrich Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Rose of Lima Church, Buffalo, NY on Thursday October 5th at 9:30AM. Please assemble at church, kindly wear a mask and practice social distancing. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the William M. and Stanley A. Bukowski Medical Education Fund at https://ubfoundation.buffalo.edu/giving or Catholic Charities of Western New York at https://ccwny.org/donate/. Dear Bukowski Family, What a guy your dad was! When I saw him with Stan at our CHS 50th reunion, he was amazing. Hold tight to the good memories of his and your parents lives, they will help to ease the sadness in your hearts. May he Rest in Peace, and may his spirit be eternal!

How sad to hear of his death. He was a super physician and such a caring man for his patients. I knew him at the ECH and for doing research for his work with Dr Granger on the FIM. May his family find peace and comfort in their memories.
