Of Clarence at the age of 71. Beloved husband of 46 years to Peggy (nee Duffy) Demmitt; devoted father of Peter (Heidi), Jack (Jen), Mark (Lucy) and Julie (Ian Bratschie) Demmitt; adored "Papa Bumpa" of Nora, Mitch, Annie, Sadie and Clara; dear brother of Anne (Michael) Hillebrand, Mary Ellen (Jackson) Davis, Theresa (Stanley) Huddleston, Carol (Raymond) Marey, Matthew Demmitt and Kathleen (Ralph) Robert; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 4th from 1-5 PM at the (Harris Hill Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8440 Main St. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 5th at Harris Hill United Methodist Church, 8495 Main St. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Stephen's generous spirit, donations may be made to Hearts for the Homeless of WNY. Steve was one of the truly nice guys in our class. You could always expect a smile and a friendly greeting from Steve at our Regis College reunions in Denver. We will miss him at our upcoming 50th reunion.
