Steve was an excellent attorney and a class act. He had a good word for all and a smile on his face. It was always a pleasure to see Steve. My condolences to the family.

Hi Carolyn,
So sorry to hear about Steve's passing. I have fond memories of lunch with you and Steve, my family and my mother at "Lochevan".
Should you ever be in Virginia or Jackson Hole, Wyoming, we'd love to see ya. Dick Kellogg knows how to find me.
Love,
Rick

It's always a sad time when one of earth's angels is called back home, especially for a life well lived & shared with others. Even though we'll be in their presence again one day for eternity, we can't help but miss people no longer over here, especially those who are smart, kind, funny, positive, and humble! I will always remember Mr. Kellogg going to or returning from a tennis game or else sitting on his porch in CHQ. He was always smiling or laughing, joking around, and waving to his neighbors as they walked by his house. And if it was a slow-paced day, he'd spend a few minutes in conversation with us (one of his neighbors). So nice! I've known Mr. Kellogg this way for decades (although I never knew he was an attorney until now!) & will greatly miss his goodness & positive attitude about everything. My condolences to the entire Kellogg Family. Our family's hearts grieve with yours. He will surely be missed by all of his neighbors!
Much love from the DePriest-Nees family,

I join others who celebrate the life of Steve, friend, classmate, and all around "good guy" as well as brilliant lawyer. Steve's quiet, unassuming, good-natured manner set an example for all of us to follow. He never had an unkind word to say about anyone. He will be missed by us all but particularly by his wonderful wife and family. Bon Voyage, Steve!

I was shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of your Dad/Husband. Mr. Kellogg, as I always called him, was one of the kind, smiling faces I looked forward to seeing in Chautauqua each year. His energetic and optimistic outlook on life was role model, and he had a kind, inviting aura about him that made me want to join him on the front porch to sit and have a chat. He will be greatly missed.
