KAISER - Reverend Sue K.
December 3, 2021, of Williamsville and Grand Island. Survived by devoted husband of 63 years, Robert Kaiser; mother of Mark Kaiser and Stacy (Thomas) Gilmour; grandmother of Genevieve, Chyris, Briana, Joel and Brandon; great-grandmother of Jackson, Elysium and Maisy; sister of Sharon (Vincent) Papa and Maralee Wienert; also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. Sue worked as a dental hygienist early in her career. In midlife, she earned a bachelor's degree in Geriatrics, and later a Master of Divinity degree. During her career as one of the earlier female ministers, she served six United Methodist churches in Western New York. Pastor Sue was known and respected for her loving, caring, welcoming and determined nature. Sue cherished her many friends and extended family members near and far, and often expressed her deep gratitude for the help of her loving husband Bob. Her close connection with these loved ones was among her greatest blessings, and she faithfully sent handwritten notes and cards for every occasion. Her care extended to the greater community in many forms, including her dedicated support of Somalian refugees. In addition to her many ministries, Sue found joy in the harmonies of singing, gardening and creative endeavors. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her on earth. Friends may call Tuesday 9-10:30 AM at KAISER FUNERAL HOME, 1950 Whitehaven Rd., Grand Island and Funeral Services will follow at 11 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2100 Whitehaven Rd., Grand Island.
