Age 77, beloved wife of Ronald Ripstein; devoted mother of Melanie Pensinger, Dr. Heather (Jason) Bonenfant, and Deanna (Thomas) Laney; loving grandmother of Ryan, Lauren, Zachary, Ashley, Russell and Calla Rose; dear sister of Calvin (Gail) Fechter and Lisa (Gerald) Andrews; also survived by her nephews and many loving cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, December 16th, from 4-7 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (at Hopkins Rd). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 17th, at St. Gregory the Great Church, 200 St. Gregory Ct. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sue's name to Feed More Buffalo or St. Luke's Mission of Mercy. Share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com

Mrs. Ripstein was my 5th grade teacher back in the late 1980s. She was lovely and kind. Sometimes we would run into each other at mass or running errands. It was always so good to see her throughout the years!

Dear Ron and Family, Ann and I will miss seeing Sue at our reunion gatherings. There is no one we know that is so pivoted on the path to eternal glory. The Lord looks forward to her being next to His throne. We will miss her joy and gestalt for life!
