Daughter of the late Stephen and Eleanor (Mazurek) Mekarski; cherished mother of Kelly Carroll of Brooklyn, NY, Megan Carroll of Tacoma, WA; and sister of the late Stephen Jr., Ronald, and Jeffrey Mekarski. Loved nature, her rescue dogs, and riding her bike. Compassionate nurse, educator and friend. You are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Church, 317 Leroy Ave., on Saturday, March 21st at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Buffalo Central Terminal Restoration Corporation or Sean Casey Animal Rescue. Arrangements by VANDERCHER & DICK FUNERAL HOME.
