Dear Family, I can't express how much of an influence your father was to me in my youth. He taught me how to swim at age 6, he was my first swimming coach, my first boss when I was a life guard at Wurlitzer Pool, my phys ed teacher at NTHS, and a great mentor. He taught me many of life's little learnings that I've never forgot including the setting of my career path that I enjoy today. You all have my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Claudia, Teddy, Lizzie, Janey ; Some of the most cherished days I remember were at wurlitzer pool. I spent 12 hrs a day there with your dad. It was an amazing time that will not ever be duplicated. Mr. Moore was one of the "Good Guys", and we all know there aren't many of them out there. My sincere condolences

My condolences to your family. Coach Moore was also instrumental in my choice of professions as well as bring me to North Tonawanda to teach and coach. I learned a great deal from him during my time student teaching with him, things such as discipline, organization and attention to detail.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Having grown up in Wurlitzer Park I remember Mr. (and Mrs.) Moore always being around, especially Wurlitzer pool. It seemed everytime I went by the pool Mr. Moore was doing laps. I remember him giving me the swimming "test" so I could swim in the big pool! Thank you for the wonderful memories!! God bless you and your Family!

So sorry for your loss. I have great memories of your Dad at Wurlitzer Pool.
I remember when I'd go walking and he was outside, he'd always stop and chat.
God Bless the family.

You represented what the teaching profession was supposed to be. Your coaching was an extension of your teaching and was based on discipline, hard work, preparation, and team work. You were very instrumental in my choice of professions and desire to coach. You will be sadly missed, but your teachings and beliefs will continue through your former students and athletes. Our condolences to your family. Dave & Kathy Anastasi

I recall Mr. Moore very well. His phys. ed clases along with Mr. Sebek were great. He taught us about sports, life, and how to be gentlemen. I will remember his often. I wish him peace and think that God, needs him to coach his basketball team in heaven. He made a difference in my life. Please RIP Mr. Moore. Dale Zebulske NTHS 1971
