Thomas CECHINI Obituary
February 28, 2022, of Amherst, NY, age 83. Beloved husband of Sara C. (nee Mancuso) Cechini. Devoted father of Thomas P. (Marlene) Cechini. Cherished grandfather of Thomas G., Joseph R. and Gabriella A. Loving son of the late Galiano and Celesta Cechini. Dear brother of late Violet (late Robert) Spitzer, late Mary (late Daniel) Mordell, late Norine (late Edwin) Sherwood and the late G. Vincent (late Edith) Cechini. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Friday March 11, 2022 from 3-7 PM, at the (Tonawanda Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2600 Sheridan Dr. (corner of Parker Blvd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 12, 2022 in St. Benedict Church, 1317 Eggert Road, Amherst, at 9 AM. Please assemble at church. Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Thomas was a member of the Buffalo Canoe Club, an alumnus of Bennett High School and Alfred University, member of the Bennett Sports Hall of Fame. Many great memories of Tom over a lot of years. In our youth my brother Mike, Tom and I had the C&N (Cechini/Nolan) Painting Co. We thought we were going to be rich until we started ditching work for the beach. Rest in peace old pal.
