Thomas McCARTHY Obituary
August 11, 2022 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of Caroline (nee Harper) McCarthy and the former Arlene (nee Rinaldo) McCarthy. Loving father of Karen (Michael) Gioia, Jolene Saccomanno, Lynn, Michael and the late Tommy McCarthy; dear stepfather of Aimee (Ron) Murcin and Bethany (Robert) England. Cherished grandfather of several grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Devoted brother of Nora (late Joseph) D'Anna. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Tom was a proud US Army Veteran. He was employed at The Pentagon, Washington D.C. and Sears in the Southgate Plaza. Tom was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing his pony's. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Monday, August 15th from 4-8 PM at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2510 Union Rd., Cheektowaga (2 blocks south of William St). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM in Resurrection R.C. Church, Cheektowaga. Please assemble at Church. Entombment in Mt Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's name to Hospice Buffalo. Please leave condolences online at www.SmolarekCares.com
