Thomas McGINLEY Obituary
Of Clarence, NY, May 26, 2022. Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Scherer) McGinley; loving father of Sean and Christopher (Kara) McGinley; cherished papa of Ava, Zachary, Lucas, and Matthew McGinley; dearest son of the late Martin and Agnes (nee Klee) McGinley; dear brother of Susan (Robert) Young, Robert (Roberta) McGinley, and Maryann (Joseph) Masci; also survived by nieces and nephews. Tom was an Army veteran, member of the Ellicott Creek Vol. Fire. Co., a retired commercial pilot from Midway Airlines, an avid woodworker and gardener, and an accomplished pianist and organist playing the Wurlitzer for many years at Shea's, Riviera Theatre, and Our Lady of Peace Church. The family will be present on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd., East Amherst, NY 14051. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10 AM at Our Lady of Peace Church, 10950 Main St., Clarence, NY 14031 (Please assemble at the Church). Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of WNY or the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation. My family and I have wonderful memories of Tom...accompanying the Contemporary Choir at church, entertaining guests at our Thanksgiving open house, joining our yearly band get togethers, and sharing stories and friendship for many years. He will always be in our hearts and prayers. Our heartfelt condolences, Kathy, to you and your family.

We send our sincere condolences and prayers for the McGinley family. We enjoyed hearing Tom play at the Riviera theater. He had many talents and was a wonderful neighbor when we lived in Clarence. God bless him always
