Jr. (Gail) Monaghan, Carol (Ronald) Kozub, Kathy (Steve) Battaglia and Susan (Robert) Guarino; cherished grandfather of Lisa, Steve, Sean, Luke, Cassidy, Tyler, Madison, Isabella and the late Joshua; loving son of the late Thomas A. and S. Veronica Monaghan; dear brother of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Monaghan and Marion (late Donald) Johnston; fond brother-in-law of Matthew (late Rose) Licata, Sara (late Edward) Zwifka, Angeline (late Edward) Smietana, Susie (Jerry) Wood and the late Connie, Mary Ann, Carmela, Rose and Jennie; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 3-8 PM, where the funeral will be held on Saturday morning at 8:30 o'clock and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Vianney Church at 9:30 o'clock. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Monaghan was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was the retired Area Director of the United Auto Workers Region 9.
