Of West Seneca, entered into rest May 23, 2024. Beloved husband of Eileen (nee Fletcher) Eckstein; devoted father of Kelly (Randy) Shelton, Kimberly Wigdorski, Clay (Kathy) Hubert, Melissa (Jason) Burnett, and the late David (Heidi) Koch, and Jay Saporito; cherished grandfather of Alexis (Jennel), Mariah, Ryan, Brett, David (Rose), Tim, Zak, Logan, Dylan, Jaelyn, Talya, Emilli and Austin; loving son of the late Leonard and E. Jean Eckstein; dear brother of Janet Bartee and Terrence (Maryann) Eckstein, fond brother in law of Joan Fletcher, Barb Kozlowski, the late Michael, Robert, Keith, and Wes Fletcher; also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Snyder chapel) 4614 Main St. (near Harlem Rd.) on Wednesday from 2:00-7:00 pm for a gathering in Timothy's memory. Timothy was a retired city of buffalo superintendent of streets and sanitation. Flowers gratefully declined. Online condolences may be made at www.lombardofuneralhome.com
