CZERWINSKI - Walter J., Jr. Age 82, of North Tonawanda, December 23, 2014 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Walter was a 1950 graduate of North Tonawanda High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a former employee of Stone Container and was a member of the American Legion, Sikora Post; beloved husband of Dolores "Midge" (nee Johnson) Czerwinski for over 61 years; father of Thomas Czerwinski and Paula (David) Neumann both of North Tonawanda and Sherry (Kyle) Zuchowski of Merritt Island, FL; grandfather of Brian Neumann and Becky (John) Simpson; great-grandfather of Brynn Harper Simpson; brother of Barney (late Rita) Czerwinski, Edward (late Flora) Czerwinski, Irene (late Joseph) Krawczak, Donald (Patricia) Czerwinski and the late Eugene, Raymond and Richard Czerwinski; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the FRETTHOLD FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Friday from 4 - 8 PM. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
