Walter LERMINIAUX Obituary

LERMINIAUX - Walter Henry, Sr. 85, life long resident of Springville, NY, passed away on February 7, 2013, in his home, with family at his side. He was born in Springville on September 3, 1927, the son of the late Frank and Rose (Guzzy) Lerminiaux. Walter was married to Violet (Rumfola) Lerminiaux on October 21, 1953. He spent his working career at Peerless-Winsmith and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Walter was an avid golfer and bowler, but his true passion was vegetable gardening. Walt's Market had an array of vegetables, but Walter was known for his delicious tomatoes. His love for family was never ending. He is survived by his wife Violet; son Walter H. (Ann) Lerminiaux Jr.; daughters Laura L. Nason and Lisa M. (William) Woolston; grandchildren Scott, Peter, Christiann, Natalie, Miranda and Alexa; several nieces and nephews. Brother of Frank (Carol) Lerminiaux and Rose Marie (Michael) Cieslak; predeceased by Edward (Florence), Henry (Margaret) Lerminiaux and Sophia (Kenneth) Monnin. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Aloysius Church, Springville, on Saturday, March 16 at 11 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital. He fought a courageous fight! I'm sure it was the never ending love from his family that gave him strength to endure the pain he went through. No more pain.im sure he's watching over the whole family in heaven just as he did on earth. Great memories never leave our hearts.God bless !
