June 24, 2022. Beloved husband of 63 years to Lottie Gorenflo; loving father of William O. "Jr." Gorenflo, Paul W. Gorenflo, John W. (Maureen) Gorenflo, and Mary M. Gorenflo; cherished grandfather of Christa (Stephen) Shaffer, Sarah, Erik, Michaela, Olivia Gorenflo, and great-grandfather of Adeline Shaffer; dear brother of Sally (Jack) Watsen, Betty (Bill) English, Louise (Dennis) Gregg and the late Margaret (Mike) Anderson. Services were held at the conveniece of the family. Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Buffalo or St. Jude's Hospital. Arrangements by DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME. Condolences and prayers go out to the Gorenflo Family.
The Gorenflo's and Zaffram's have a long history. My father first rented from Oscar a store for his retail hardware and an apartment upstairs. Around 1960 he moved the hardware across the street to 1369 Jefferson. I believe Oscar was his landlord there also.
Over the years we continued to interact with Billy and his Dad. Crazy Emil would call on us for wholesale trade.
I could go on and on. Such good memories.
I still have a Gorenflo mailbox on my house. "A Touch Of Brass" provided by the next generation.
Our prayers and best wishes go out to the Gorenflo Family.
