Of Orchard Park, NY, Unexpectedly. Beloved husband of Joanne (Lebherz) Speyer; father of Liam C. and Emily B. Speyer; brother of Thomas J. (Beth), Sean J. (Jennifer), and the late Charles P. Speyer. Son of the late William and Patricia (Dolan) Speyer; also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 10th and Thursday, July 11th from 3pm - 7pm both days, at the F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 E. Quaker St., Orchard Park, NY. Billy was a former Erie County Sheriff and retired from the Orchard Park Police Department after many years of service. Billy was also active in the sport of Rugby for the past 40 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 12th in Nativity of Our Lord Church, 26 Thorn Ave., Orchard Park, NY. Billy was active in the sport of Rugby for the past 40 years.
